What started as a small, general store in the village of Elm in Lancaster County, PA in 1887 has grown into a full-service, multi-generational business with two locations.

It all began with Phares Bomberger, an enterprising young man, who at the age of 20, purchased a small trading post known as the John Gable General Store located in the village of Elm, Lancaster County, PA.
6 generations later, Bomberger’s is still committed to maintaining its reputation for personal service and care for the community. Hardworking employees going the extra mile for customers is instilled in the company culture.
